Dr. Viera

I have had the pleasure of practicing pediatric dentistry for over 25 years. My passion for the field has not changed since I was a little girl in my father's own dental office in Miami, Florida.

I am the proud mother of two children. One of my most rewarding experiences as a pediatric dentist is watching children develop from diapers to grown adults.

I look forward to meeting new faces, and engaging with familiar ones each and every day, and hope to make their smiles that much brighter.

As a mother, I believe that parents are their children's best advocates, so we will always work together for the benefit of your child and their dental care.

As a pediatric dentist, I use "tell, show, do" methods, coaching, modeling, and praise in a patient and supportive atmosphere in order to develop trust and build your child's confidence in an environment that can understandably be stressful at times for anyone.

Our goal is the promotion of healthy dental habits along with healthy balanced diet for the benefit of better long term oral health for all our patients.

Dr. Viera attended the University of Florida where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1986. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1990. She then completed a residency in General Dentistry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center and later completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry there in 1993.

She is professionally affiliated with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Greater Norwalk Dental Society, and the Connecticut State Dental Association.
